Route
- Leave the key on the Siesta Dr bridge (north end) or Stickney Point Rd (south end).
- Head north on US-41, then east on Fruitville Rd to US-301.
- Go north on US-301 past University Parkway and turn onto 72nd Ave E.
From the south end of the key, Stickney Point Rd to I-75 north, then University Parkway west to US-301, avoids downtown.
Sand Is the Real Enemy
Siesta's famously fine sand gets everywhere: door jambs, floor mats and the paint itself. The damage happens when it's wiped off dry; that's how beach cars collect swirl marks. A coated surface is slick enough that a fresh-water rinse carries sand off, so you aren't grinding it into the clear coat.
Beach Parking, Rentals & Sun

How long is the drive from Siesta Key?
About 25–30 minutes from Siesta Key Village in normal traffic. Leave via the Siesta Dr or Stickney Point bridge and head to US-301. Season traffic on the bridges can add time.
How should I wash sand off a coated car?
Rinse first with plenty of fresh water to float sand off, then hand wash. Never dry-wipe sand off paint, coated or not.
Do you come out to Siesta Key?
Coatings are installed in our shop so they cure properly out of the sun, salt and wind. You drop off Monday–Friday, 8 AM–6 PM.
